Housatonic River Initiative :: the Atlas Project
Welcome to the Atlas Project, where we are creating a comprehensive guide to the Housatonic River watershed.
An important new feature is a series of interactive map pages for towns, lakes, and ponds that contain a variety of information, including static bathometric and topographic maps.

All Things Considered, January 19, 2006 - "For years, General Electric, the EPA and the town of Pittsfield, Mass., fought bitterly over cleaning up PCBs, which are believed to cause cancer.
